Washington County, Wisconsin Master Gardeners program is a volunteer organization dedicated to providing education and information regarding horticulture and gardening.  The mission of the Washington County Master Gardener program is to serve the residents of Washington County, Wisconsin by providing research based horticultural information and educational opportunities in conjunction with UW Extension.  We promote community service through volunteer opportunities and fellowship.  We promote environmental stewardship through the practice of responsible gardening techniques and continuing education of our members and local residents.

The University of  Wisconsin Extension Washington County Wisconsin Master Gardener Program started in 2009 in response to community comments in a UW Extension needs assessment survey.

The group meets on most second Thursdays monthly.  Meetings are typically held at the Public Agency Center 333 E. Washington St., West Bend, Wisconsin.  Meetings are always open to current members and sometimes educational sessions are open to the public for a fee.
